The roaster cooks perfectly. The only thing I will add is it states fits up to a 20 lb. Turkey. Mine was 20 lbs. but once I placed it in the roaster and tried to put the lid on, I couldn’t place the lid securely on it. Basically a 20 lb. turkey was too big for the lid to completely close. I had to place aluminum foil on the top of it. Alot of foil to seal it around the roaster. Wasn’t sure if this was going to effect how well it cooked, but it came out perfectly cooked, falling of of the bone.

I was nervous when it arrived as it felt cheap but I was shocked at how well it worked. I used it for thanksgiving and it cooked everything so well. This roaster makes my life so much easier. I can a lot of items for my family and this is a game changer. I was only able to make 5 quarts at a time , this gives me the opportunity to do 28 quarts that’s a huge difference . From my left over turkey I was able to make so much broth I don’t need to buy any for the year. Don’t hesitate it’s well worth the investment.

It is bigger than I thought it would be. However, it is big enough to cook a turkey, with the vegetables. It feels like a combination roaster and slow cooker. It is easy to clean. I love it because I do not have to put on the oven. And, I can cook a bunch of vegetables and put a whole chicken in it and have a stew or soup. I even through in the rice after a few hours and everything cooked in one put and not several pots. Again, I love it.
